There really isn’t a category of what blogs can be nominated, you simply nominate who you think deserves this award.

Why did you start blogging?
In 2011, I had given birth to my second son and also had left my last job, due to the contract ending. I was looking to keep myself occupied during the evenings, when a friend mentioned that I could ‘test’ sex toys for free, in return for a review with a big league company. This combined my love for writing and sex toys, so I dived right in and haven’t looked back.

If your site had a goal, what would it be? How do you feel you’re doing with that goal, right now? How do you feel you’ve done with that goal over all?
I feel that there are certain aspects to the health of a person, that isn’t really talked about when it comes to sex, whether it be a disability or mental health issue. By shedding light on these topics and how to enjoy a sex life, with these boundaries, it might help others to see that they can enjoy all forms of sexuality, with ease.
At first, I was only writing sex toy reviews but as my confidence grew in my writing, I started approaching taboo topics. I was nervous about feedback and how people would accept my views but I have experienced healthy opinions and helped a few readers along the way. I am still delving into my goals but eventually, I know that I will reach my target and in doing so, helping to raise awareness.

How has blogging influenced your life?
Writing has given me time to vent and also reconnect to a hobby that I felt I had lost, a long the way. It has allowed me to become more like me, again. I am more confident about myself, which I am grateful for, as blog and twitter followers have made me see that I have more self-worth, than I thought I had.

What is your favourite part of blogging?
I love receiving products to review! I have approximately 3 products delivered a week and it’s like my birthday all over again. Opening parcels to reveal a surprise!
I also like delving into topics that are able to help others.

Are you kinky? How did you come to this conclusion?
Yes, for sure! I am not into the hard core side of kink but I do like wax play and being a submissive. I think my main ‘kink’ is wax play. I love the feeling of hot wax being dripped over me, it’s exhilarating.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
As I am 33 years old, I am already ‘grown up’ but my main goal in life was to join the Royal Navy, which I did when I was 18 years old and served 5 great years! But for now, I would like it if my blog reached out to others and become known for something other than being a Mum……OK, I do love my kids but I am now working on me!

What is the most important thing about you that you want everyone to know?
That as a blogger, I am here to make a difference to my life and I hope that it can make a difference to someone else, too. I am not here to make money or become ‘famous’ but I am doing this for me. I speak the truth and I do not buy into the bitchiness that can be experienced within the blogging community.
I am me, I am friendly, approachable and more than happy to help someone in need.
As a person, what’s the most important thing about me? That I’ve worked my arse off to get where I have reached, today!
